The Last Village

For this project my goal was to create a cool-toned & night-like Japanese-style environment. Going for an in-game cinematics look. I was inspired by the visuals and look dev of Ghost of Tsushima and thought of creating my own version. I challenged myself to fully create this in Unreal Engine 5, but some of the models were done in Blender and Substance Painter and some assets were from free Megascans. About 80 percent of it was done in Unreal Engine. There were 3 versions of this with Unreal Engine rendering and another two I tried exploring color grading (post-process) in Davinci Resolve.

Software Used
Blender - Modeling Assets
Substance Painter - Texturing
Unreal Engine 5 - Set-Dressing, Materials Modification, Foliage, Niagara Particles Sim, Lighting , Camera Anim, Render.
